I graduated magna cum laude from California State University at Long Beach with a degree in English. Math, though, remains my favorite subject.
Experience
I tutored for many years in Southern California--primarily in math. I tutored both children and adults, from first grade through twelfth grade, and I also helped students on the college level. I worked by independently and, for a time, with Professional Tutors of America in Southern California. I moved to Washington State in 2010, and I taught math to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Stella Maris Academy in Edmonds. I am also proficient in teaching English and in guiding a student in writing and composition. This was my major in college.
