I am a natural teacher and have used that skill at every job I have ever had. Whether in sales, operations, or regulatory positions, I have expressed my passion to help others improve. Business, math, and English are my strengths and I always make an effort to help my students understand what they are learning. I do this by providing a look at how to apply the subject to the real world. Patient and able to find different ways to teach until the topic sinks in, I can tutor anything from algebra to differential equations and everything in between. I have a B.A. in Education - Math and Earth Science from the University of Washington. My MBA, and my emphasis in Managerial and Organizational Leadership, is from City University of Seattle. Initially I was a high school math teacher before joining the corporate business world. I have been in the front line to at the position of CEO over the course of my 30-year career and still have an innate passion for teaching people. I currently live in Burien, Washington and enjoy reading, bicycling, and basketball, plus sports of all types. Also, I enjoy writing, chess, and all kinds of games.
