I have a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Central Washington University. Since graduating from the university, I have taught various subjects at various grade levels. English, literature, and history are my most passionate subjects but I can tutor math from arithmetic and algebra up to differential equations. I tutor history, geography, science, and pubic speaking as well and am familiar with the procedures for standardized test prep. The LSAT, SAT, and COMPASS tests are the ones I am most familiar with.There is another aspect about my tutoring style that appeals to the people I have helped. My approach to teaching is student driven. I can adapt and adjust based on a particular student's learning style and other personal attributes. Functioning in this capacity enables me to encourage learning because it is a lifelong process and applies to every aspect of our lives. Students benefit during and after the tutoring session as well as long after we are done working together and they have aced their classes.A Burien, Washington resident, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping in my spare time. I also spend my free time skating, biking, doing water sports, and taking part in martial arts.
